The Business Investment Team at emda

The Business Investment Team at emda is charged with developing access to finance initiatives for the region’s businesses that complement the sources available in the private, commercial sector. Our objectives are to:

  • Improve the co-ordination of access to finance initiatives in the East Midlands.
  • Increase the availability of start-up and development capital to the region’s businesses through the successful launch of funds; and,
  • Improve the ability of these businesses to raise capital by providing investment readiness support.
