International Investment
Our International Investment team manages the England's East Midlands campaign, which attract foreign companies to the region.
The team helps companies from all over the world establish strong bases in the East Midlands, liaising on the investor’s behalf with government, public and private sector organisations; and offers free, confidential support.

UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) is the Government organisation and acts as emda's international trade arm to help UK-based companies succeed in an increasingly global economy. Its range of expert services are tailored to the needs of individual businesses to maximise their international success.

Shanghai Expo 2010
70 million visitors are expected at Shanghai Expo between May and October - and The University of Nottingham will be there, showcasing its world-changing sustainability research.
Investor Development
The Investor Development team role is to support businesses as they grow in the East Midlands, providing companies with all the expert advice they need to achieve their goals.
Our Investor Development team has specialist account managers across the region and will work with businesses to help identify opportunities, establish collaborations and overcome barriers.

East Midlands China Business Bureau
China's economic development is opening up great business opportunities for East Midlands' companies. The world's largest consumer market has an insatiable demand for western goods and is investing heavily in Research and Development.
To respond to this challenge the East Midlands China Business Bureau offers assistance and advice to small and medium sized companies on a number of key issues, particularly business culture and language.

East Midlands India Business Bureau
India and the East Midlands share rapidly developing technologies, particularly in sectors such as transport, space, pharma and biosciences, the creative industries, logistics, retail, food and drink, technical textiles and manufacturing. The two also share many cultural, educational and tourism links.
East Midlands India Business Bureau (EMIBB) is the dedicated business support organisation to assist regional companies in developing business with India.

East Midlands International Trade Association
The East Midlands International Trade Association (emita) is an independent not-for-profit organisation which promotes international trade expertise among the region’s businesses through a series of interesting and relevant international trade seminars and conferences.
Companies who join the Association are able to share information and establish contacts with other businesses operating in similar markets to the benefit of all concerned.
